Lawyers are very familiar with the variety of formal rules that govern litigation practice – the Federal Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure, Rules of Professional Conduct, and various Local Rules of Procedures. This CLE presentation will examine the “Unwritten Rules” of practice as viewed by two members of the federal bench. The ethics areas covered in this program will include how to maintain candor with the tribunal and the practical ethical obligations of practitioners.
