In the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, clients are attempting to navigate a patchwork of novel, complex, and often conflicting state and federal laws and regulations. Texas is a hot bed for new legislation and litigation concerning the reach of potential civil and criminal liability on individuals and entities (including corporate clients) for conduct that “aids or abets” abortion. This CLE program will address areas of potential civil and criminal liability that may impact corporate clients in the post-Dobbs legal landscape.     Alex Wolf, Smyser Kaplan & Veselka, L.L.P.   Education: J.D., cum laude, Harvard Law School (2012); Ed.M., Harvard Graduate School of Education (2009); B.A., magna cum laude, Cornell University (2006); Law Clerk to the Hon. Carolyn Dineen King, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit (2013-2014).
